The Role

We are seeking an experienced Agile Product Owner to define user stories, prioritize backlogs, and guide our team of software and QA engineers in an agile software development process to make sure that the product roadmap is properly executed. The Agile Product Owner will report to our Director of Product to provide product vision to drive the growth of our business.

Full-time Location: Remote in select states or Venice, CA in the heart of an inspiring and eclectic artist community

What You’ll Do

  • The Digital Product Owner will serve as the 'voice of the customer’ throughout the end to end process of product development, ensuring that the products and experiences delivered fully meet consumer needs & Customer Job To Be Done.
  • Perform external discovery like identifying marketplace innovation, testing directly with end users and internal discovery (e.g., collaborating with business partners to identify needs) with support from business partners, UX design and research
  •  Incorporate competitive and user research/testing and/or design thinking as part of the voice of the customer
  •  Have end-to-end experience ownership, including taking final decisions on product functionality when necessary
  •  Evaluate, in collaboration with business partners, potential business/clinical process changes and internal system configurations to be able to implement the desired features
  •  Develop experience strategy and set key business objectives, including the establishment of a clear vision and roadmap for a given product or initiative
  •  Be responsible for supporting the product vision, defining product requirements, translating requirements into user stories to prioritize product backlog
  • Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by the development teams
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  • Actively mitigate roadblocks impacting successful team completion of release/sprint goals
  • Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  • Serve as the product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions related to the product

You have

  • 5+ years experience working within media in a product management or product marketing capacity.
  • Minimum BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles 
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Creative thinker with a vision
  • Attention to details
