Role: Director of Brand Sales
Full-time Location: Venice, CA in the heart of an inspiring and eclectic artist community

Seeking: We are looking for a passionate, proactive, agile and experienced sales leader with a track record of building, optimizing, and scaling digital media sales teams to join our fast-paced start-up. As an immediate leader joining our team during a period of rapid expansion, you will have the unique opportunity to lead the team that is the primary revenue driver of the company while working closely with global leading brands and social media influencers.

Expectations of this Role:

  • Quickly become a key leader on the executive team while rapidly growing all facets of MagicLinks' sales team, processes, and materials to achieve aggressive revenue targets in an exponential growth environment
  • Leadership of the sales team, including recruitment, hiring, training, developing, coaching, mentoring and motivating a world class sales team
  • Own day-to-day sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, planning, quota setting, and team management
  • Drive new business development -- seek and activate relevant brands with MagicLinks strategic solutions including video influencer campaigns and paid media placements
  • Highly proficient utilizing CRM systems for pipeline, forecasting, and performance management

You Are:

  • Passionate about and connected within the global retail industry, especially across fashion, beauty, tech, sustainability, sports, cooking, and home
  • An ever-evolving professional and thought leader with 7+ years of experience in media sales and business development actively building and leading sales teams who thrive in a hyper-growth environment
  • A highly motivated self-starter, and mental athlete, capable of producing high quality work while adhering to oftentimes very tight turnaround times in an exciting and fast-moving start-up environment.
  • Experience with leading social platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, and others
  • An articulate and engaging individual and natural leader, demonstrating excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, e-mail Marketing Systems, and CRM tools.
  • One who looks at all of these pre-requisites, and says to self, 'yes I can do all of these things and more, and if I can’t, I will learn how to'
