What you'll do:

• Scaling & Growth. Ownership of all things AWS, ELK stack, Postgres databases, Jenkins deployment, and Linux Virtual Machines.
• Developer Support. Will be supporting Software engineers, so knowledge of software development is required.
• Improvement of Process. Work closely with other engineers on identifying and addressing shortcomings in our infrastructure and in our deployment processes.
• Monitoring and Alerting. Build out more intelligent alerting systems, seek out potential threats to security and reliability, advocate solutions to these problems.
• Development. Grow and expand infrastructure products and software automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

You Are:

Required:

• Well-versed in Linux System Administration with at least 3-years experience
• Programming experience in one major programming language ( JAVA, Python, Ruby, Go )
• Experienced in monitoring with any major tool ( e.g. Datadog, Elasticsearch, NewRelic ), with at least 3-years experience doing so
• AWS experience ( EC2, Serverless architecture )
• An exceptional communicator that is proactive and collaborative

Desirable:

• Someone with at least 3-years software development experience
• Experienced in data pipelines and security

Location:

• On-Site or Remote: Our office is located in Venice, CA in the heart of an inspiring and eclectic artist community. This role may be based in the area or be fully remote.
